We're choosing Low Carbon

Our Digital Commitment
What does our Low Carbon approach involve?
At esf La Toussuire, we like things to glide smoothly, no friction, no waste. So why stick with a heavy, energy-hungry website? With 4% of global greenhouse gas emissions coming from the web, we decided it was time for a change of direction!

Our site has now taken the Low Carbon turn: fewer data, lower energy use, and a more minimalist approach. Clean design, fast browsing, a lighter footprint — so even your clicks help protect the mountains!

Digital footprints may not show in the snow, but they do leave a mark elsewhere. So let’s choose the right track!

"Le Dernier Planté de Bâton"
When the season ends, the skis are packed away… but the gloves go back on!
On 24 May 2025, the esf La Toussuire team, together with the resort and the Mountain Riders association, took part in “Dernier Planté de Bâton”, a special day where ski instructors swap gliding down the slopes for cleaning up the mountain.

This collective effort for a cleaner mountain, coordinated by SNMSF and Mountain Riders, brought together ski schools across the country. Once again this year, esf La Toussuire proudly took part, because our commitment to the mountains doesn’t stop when the snow melts.
