A gentle introduction
With our Ourson-level ski lessons, your child learns to ski at their own pace in a safe and playful beginners’ area (the snowy kindergarten) before venturing onto their first slopes, all under the expert guidance of our esf ski instructors.

During the french February holidays, for a more personalised experience, Top 8 ski lessons limited to 8 children are also available.

An option including the Castors Club Daycare service is also available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is insurance included with the lessons?
No, the esf does not provide insurance for students. For more information, please visit our dedicated page: "Take out insurance".
Does my child need a ski pass?
  • Ourson level: No ski pass is needed for the first day. Please plan a budget in case a pass purchase becomes necessary after the first session.
  • For Flocon to Compétition levels: Your child will ski directly on the resort slopes and will need a La Toussuire ski pass from day one. 
  • For the Team Rider course: A Sybelles ski pass is required.
Will my child earn a medal?
Of course! At the end of each week, your child will receive a medal representing their level.
What is the Top 8 ski lesson?
